All rooms feature a fully equipped kitchen, bath and shower, cable TV, ceiling fans, and free WIFI.

Dolphin Bay Hotel does not have a pool or restaurant -- but good eating is within walking distance, with swimming and evening entertainment close by. If desired, a home cooked meal may be prepared in the room.

We do not cater to those people who are interested in the large multi-story luxury hotel, and all that goes with it. Instead, people who come and rent a small car and go off to the exotic points of interest by day, returning in the evening are happy here.

We are more than happy to map out trips, arrange tours, advise on restaurants and any other service people may desire. We recommend several days in the Hilo area to adequately cover all there is to offer. Being so close to town and yet in such a quiet area makes us very popular with folks who come to make this their home base while on the Big island. We are about a two hour drive from Kona, and about 30 minutes from the Volcano National Park.

We are rated the nicest small hotel in the area, and most of our guests depart promising to return in the future. As we are a small hotel we depend on definite reservations, so we ask that you do not reserve more days than you intend to stay.
